Refrigeration and air-conditioning distributor Climate Center, part of the Wolseley group, has appointed Dean Fradgley (1) as trading director. He has previously worked at B&Q, J Sainsbury and Makro.

Consultancy Henderson Green has appointed Gary Smith as senior electrical engineer.

Mike Beeton (2) has joined Fläkt Woods as UK chilled-beam product manager, while Dean Edwards has been appointed Midlands sales and project engineer on the system side of the business. Beeton previously spent 15 years at Halton, and Edwards has worked for most of the big manufacturers in the filtration industry.

At Dallmeier, Brian Wheeler (3) has been appointed northern sales manager and George McKechnie has become business development manager for Scotland.

Jane Collins (4) has taken up the post of Midlands and southwest sales director at Viessmann, with responsibility for sales of boilers and renewable energy products.

Shower maker Roman has recruited Daniel MacDonald (5) as graphic designer. He studied multimedia design at Northumbria University.

Rebecca Johnson (6) has moved to Baxi Commercial as marketing manager, joining from Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace. She is working with the Andrews Water Heaters and Potterton Commercial sales teams.

Jeremy Sumeray is the new director of strategy at the UK Green Building Council. He joins from Lafarge, where he spent 12 years in senior sustainability roles. He was recently seconded to the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform to lead development of the government’s sustainable construction strategy.

At Brentwood Design Partnership, Chris Allison has been appointed head of mechanical building services and will develop sustainability within the practice.
