Infra-red multi-purpose thermometer uses laser pointer to measure at extreme temperatures
For a limited period, Fluke is offering a free LVD2 Volt Light to purchasers of the 561 Multipurpose Thermometer.
The Fluke 561 thermometer measures non-contact infra-red and contact temperatures and is aimed at HVAC and general industrial maintenance.
The troubleshooting hand-held tool measures surface temperatures from -40°C to +550°C on a backlit display.
The laser pointer enables users to accurately scan hot, moving, electrically energised and hard-to-reach objects quickly and easily from a safe distance with the built-in infra-red thermometer.
A Velcro-covered, K-type thermocouple pipe probe enables contact measurement of pipes, metallic surfaces and air streams, with a built-in differential temperature function that provides quick and accurate measurements for superheat and sub-cooling pipes.
Other industry-standard K-type thermocouples can be used for specific applications.
The Fluke LVD2 Volt Light is a non-contact voltage detector and LED flashlight combined into one pen-style design. It detects from 90 V to 600 V ac, using dual-indication lights. Its ultra-bright white LED can illuminate work surfaces and provide 100 000 hours of continuous use. The LVD2 is rated to CAT IV 600 V.
