Paxton Access has launched a range of internal Proximity architectural readers for access control.

Designed to fit installations where aesthetics are paramount, the Proximity reader incorporates three high-intensity LEDs, which show green for access, red for access denied and white when in standby mode.

The initial range comprises bezel finishes in brush chrome, matt black and satin chrome. The range comes in wood, stone or glass inserts.

A template is available for customers who prefer to provide their own insert, to precisely match an existing wall finish.

The architectural reader is designed to be partially sunken into the wall and is fitted using a supplied, bespoke backbox.

It is suitable for use with Paxton Access’ Switch2 and Net2 systems.
