NICEIC appoints new chief operating officer

NICEIC Group has announced the appointment of Angus Moir as chief operating officer.

Moir will oversee the day-to-day running of NICEIC, the voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. In his former position, he acted as group sales and marketing director.

As part of the internal restructure, chief executive Jim Speirs has been appointed executive chairman of NICEIC Group.

Speirs said: “The appointment will strengthen our internal structure and help maintain our position as the number one choice for the electrical contractor.”
