Stewart Delgano appointed chair of timber body

Trade body the UK Timber Frame Association has appointed Stewart Dalgarno, the managing director of Stewart Milne Timber Solutions as its new chairman.

Dalgarno will be the youngest ever chairman of the UKTFA at 39. He said that his role would focus on ensuring timber frame was the number one choice among housebuilders and architects.

Dalgarno, said: “We want to ensure that timber frame remains the number one choice among house builders, designers and architects who care about high quality, cost effective homes that can help us tackle the long-term threats of climate change.”
