Lutron’s Homeworks whole-home lighting control system can now be accessed and managed via Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch devices

By integrating Homeworks with a new utility that is now available from the iTunes App Store, home owners will be able to control their lights and shades via the touch of an icon, no matter where they are in the world.

From setting the mood in advance of their arrival home to saving energy through the application of preset lighting levels, users have an unparalleled level of control over their homes, thanks to the innovative new technology.

The interface also allows users to switch off lights if schedules change or if lighting has been left on while they are away.

The lighting control system can be easily integrated with other subsystems, including audio/video products such as programmable remote controls, and security systems.

Lutron’s Homeworks system’s decentralised intelligence allows simultaneous remote and local operation of dimmers and switches throughout the home with elegant keypads and controls.
