Bovis Lend Lease also extends lead over Laing in annual tables – now £550m ahead at £1.8bn
Bovis Lend Lease, MacCormac Jamieson Prichard and Currie & Brown all have a lot to thank dear old Auntie for.

The Beeb's £402m Global Broadcasting Centre project propelled Bovis Lend Lease to top spot in the contractors' monthly league and extended its lead over Laing O'Rourke in the yearly chart to nearly £550m.

It also brought MacCormac Jamieson Prichard from nowhere to third place in the architects' league. Benoy stayed on top with seven contracts worth nearly £700m. And HOK International climbed from eighth to runner-up spot.

Currie & Brown moved up to fourth in the quantity surveyor league thanks to the BBC project. Davis Langdon & Everest, Gardiner & Theobald and Gleeds yet again filled the first three places.
