A house design based on the workings of the heart has won the Ecohouse Student Design Competition, sponsored by the Concrete Centre.

The house, by Salvadori Ceja and Sergio Marquez, uses the cardiovascular system as a model for the transfer and storage of heat in the heavy concrete structure.
