Earthquake resistance is part of the brief for an 18,000m2 school and cultural centre in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.

Buro Happold is working with Henning Larsen Architects on the building, which cantilevers over a river. It will have natural ventilation and use concrete to cut cooling needs.
