Rogerson is reappointed as deputy chairman of ConstructionSkills, having filled the role in 2001. He will continue to chair the ConstructionSkills training committee and the National Construction College’s management committee.

Stuart Gibbons

Galliford Try has appointed Gibbons as managing director of its building division. He replaces Andy Sturgess, who is to retire. Over the past three years Gibbons has worked for Galliford Try Partnerships.

Karen Ostler

Management and construction consultant Gleeds has appointed Ostler as business development manager for its Birmingham operations. She joins from Ashford Construction and will target new projects in the Midlands region.

Stewart Thornton

Construction and development company Apex has appointed Thornton as group health, safety and environmental manager. He joins from multi-disciplined company GSE Group, before which he spent 24 years in the Army.

National property and construction consultancy RLF has promoted David Worthington to partner in the Birmingham office. Durkan Group has appointed Jonathan Dean as investment director for private residential arm Durkan Estates. Matrix Realty Group has appointed its construction director Andrew Wilson to the main board.
