Structural steelwork contractor Caunton Engineering has promoted two of its senior managers, Jason Hensman and Steven Waterhouse, to the board of directors.

Richard Wheeler has been appointed buyer at Charles Church in north London. He joins from Redrow Homes, where he was buyer for the southern region.

Consultants

Reinhard Bartholomäi has joined the Frankfurt office of international legal consultant Taylor Wessing as a partner. He moves from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a senior associate.

Quantity surveyor EC Harris has appointed David Holroyd facilities manager with responsibility for the northern region. He will be based in the company’s Hull office.

Peter Woolliscroft, head of construction at NHS Estates, has been named vice-chairman of Construction Clients Group. He will provide public sector back-up to chairman Graham Farrant.

Suppliers

Boiler supplier Vaillant Hepworth has appointed Jim Moore UK country manager. He was previously UK managing director of Ferroli.

Building products supplier Kem Edwards has appointed two account managers: Richard Spencer and Steve Bamforth, who previously worked for Hilti.

Stuart Richardson has become Grundfos Pumps’ area sales manager for control panels, transferring from sister company Grundfos Control Systems.

Copper tubes manufacturer Mueller Europe has named Andrew Thorpe as its new sales manager for the northern region, replacing Paul Daughtrey, who has been promoted to overseas sales manager.

Tony Thorne has joined flooring manufacturer Laybond Products as its flooring area sales manager for South Wales and the South-west.
