At QS, project manager and building surveyor Parker Browne, Tim Kendall has become a consultant to the practice and Graham Harvey-Browne succeeds him as managing partner. Martin Strachan has been promoted to senior partner, and Robert Buckley and Robert Ebdon have become equity partners.

Jon Cook has been promoted to salaried partner, and Stuart Strachan and Mike Hare become associates.

Architect and planning consultant Barton Willmore has appointed Nick Paterson and Rachel Jones as planners in its Reading office. Victoria Bullock has been promoted to senior planner in the London office.

Philip Dalglish has joined the 25 existing partners at multidisciplinary consulting engineer Buro Happold.
He is currently based in the firm's Riyadh office.

Engineering and environmental consultant White Young Green has appointed Tim Casey associate. Casey will be responsible for managing and developing the electrical engineering design team in the Stevenage office.

Architect Scott Browning & Turner has appointed Julian Cheek divisional director. He joins the practice from Aukett and will head the mixed-used development team.

Graham Sims has joined door and window handle specialist Hoppe as national specification sales manager.

Timber specialist Boise Building Products has appointed David Holland as sales specialist.

International roofing and cladding fastener manufacturer and supplier SFS intec has appointed Mike Gill, Colin Falconer and John Eglinton as technical advisors for the London, north-west and Scottish regions respectively.
