Brian Moss receives the Gold Medal award from CIBSE past-president John Armstrong at the annual general meeting in May, in recognition of his service to the institution.

Moss has held positions as both president and treasurer of CIBSE as well as helping to set up and run the publications, research output and development committee.

At the invitation of the board Moss set up and now leads CIBSE Services, a trading company to bring in additional income relating to energy certification.

He also leads CIBSE’s Weather Task Force, researching future weather data for buildings.
