Multi-disciplinary engineering firm Aecom is to set up a new acoustics team in Cambridge.

The team will be led by regional director Gil van Buuren. He said the move would complement the company’s existing businesses in Cambridge and offer places to graduates.

Van Buuren said: “The new team will compliment the multi-disciplinary services we currently offer in Cambridge and will extend the reach of the Acoustics Group in the UK. It also is a great opportunity to focus our work in the arts and media, electro-acoustics and vibration sectors. We are looking to grow the team and would certainly welcome enquiries from exceptional candidates, particularly graduates.’

The new team will be up and running from November 2009.
