White Young Green acquires the business and assets of Nolan Ryan Partnership for £9.7m

WYG strengthens its business in Ireland with the acquisition of the country's largest indigenous QS, Nolan Ryan for approximately £9.7m. The acquisition comes just three months after WYG bought Tweeds for £11m.

WYG chief executive, John Purvis said: "This is a significant step forward in the ongoing development of WYG in Ireland. Nolan Ryan is one of Ireland's largest indigenous chartered quantity surveying businesses. It brings with it a strong order book from an established portfolio of clients across both the public and private sector in the south of Ireland."

The acquisition will help strengthen the WYG's management services business and extend its geographical coverage within the Republic of Ireland. Furthermore, it will provide a platform for future growth through cross selling opportunities and sector diversification.

Nolan Ryan currently employs 72 staff operating across five offices in Kilkenny, Waterford, Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

Dealings will begin on 4 July.
