A net 10% (the difference between 8% who sold more and 18% who sold less) of conservatory fabricators reported lower sales in November 2005 compared with October 2005 in the Monthly Index sponsored by Eurocell Profiles Ltd.

Large fabricators (20%) and small firms (13%) were affected the most. Mid-sized fabricators saw no change. Similarly a net 8% of firms sold fewer conservatories in November 2005 compared with the same period in 2004. But small fabricators (13%) and firms in the South (10%) sold more over this period.

Looking ahead and reflecting the time of year, a balance of 40% of conservatory fabricators expect less activity in December compared with November 2005. This is similar among firms of all sizes and in all regions. A balance of 12% expect to sell less in December 2005 compared with December 2004.
