Windows of opportunity: This £5.8m refurbishment project in south London is nearing completion.

Changes to the two blocks on the Angell Town estate in Brixton included new stair towers to increase access and security.

The blocks’ 78 flats are managed by Angell Town Estate Action, a partnership between residents and Lambeth council.

Mode 1 Architects designed the modifications.
