Zumtobel Lighting is offering BSj readers the chance to win a top-of-the-range camera.

For the last 10 years the company has run an architectural photography competition (some of last year’s shortlist are shown left), and this year it is launching a new version aimed at building services engineers.

The brief is simple: the pictures can be of absolutely any subject matter as long as light is integral to the image. It can be interior or exterior, shots of people, obscure angles or purely abstract.

All you have to do is register and you’ll be sent one of 500 free disposable cameras with which to take your shots, thus levelling the playing field for those who don’t have their own dark room.

Entrants have until the end of October to send back their cameras, and the winning shots will be published in the December issue of BSj. Good luck!
