  • Patrick Kinsey rejoins Static Systems Group as business manager (UK fire sales). He was previously regional sales manager in the mid-1990s.
  • Hoare Lea announces that Ashley Bateson has accepted the invitation to become a partner in the firm. Bateson joined Hoare Lea in 2004 to establish the sustainability group.
  • Plumbing and Mechanical Services Training has welcomed Jim Gourley to the post of general manager, to strengthen its team providing apprenticeship training in Northern Ireland.
  • Nick Taylor has been appointed national sales manager at Zip Heaters. He has worked for Zip since 1999.
  • PME, the building maintenance and facilities services arm of Carillion, has appointed Greg Markham as its new chief engineer. Markham is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management.
  • James Wood has joined Briggs & Forrester’s in-house design team. Wood recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first- class BEng (Hons) degree in electrical and electronic engineering.
  • Jason Fryer has joined air curtain manufacturer Airbloc as area sales manager for the north.
  • Correction: last month we stated that Stephen Taylor had been appointed managing director of the Operon Group. He is in fact managing director of Operon’s design division.
