Gareth Ellis (1) has joined Enviros Consulting’s renewable energy group as technical manager. Previously, he was head of renewables for the National Energy Foundation.

Antonino Saporito (2) has been appointed head of environmental modelling at Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers. Prior to this appointment he was a building simulation specialist at WSP.

Chris Yates has joined Buro Happold to head the consultant’s IT and communications team.

Lighting product manufacturer Harcel Lighting has appointed Stuart Matthews as project design consultant.

Brent Ross (3) has been appointed managing director of Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen.

Andrews Water Heaters has promoted Adrian Morris (4) to product manager, with responsibility for Standard and Hi-Flo direct-fired storage units.

Briggs and Forrester has made five promotions in its Engineering Services Division. Ian Lawrence is the new regional operations director, Peter Talbot is now regional director responsible for projects in Eastern England, Steve Cooke and Danille Simms have been made principle design engineers and Gary Millar is now design director.

Karl Klifford (5) has been promoted to divisional director at the chillers4Hire division of the Coolmation Group. He will be responsible for planning and supervising hire projects.

Neill Ovenden (6) has joined vibration sensor manufacturer Monitran. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Leuven Measurement Systems.
