Consultant Cundalls has made two key appointments.

Bob Beer (1) has been appointed a partner and joins the growing healthcare team and will also be supporting the activities of the firm's critical systems division.

Meanwhile Steven Cooper (2), previously a director at Warrington Fire Research Consultants, has been appointed a director of the firm’s newly established fire engineering division. Barry Redman (3) is to head up the new energy and sustainable design group at consultants Silcock Dawson & Partners. The newly created group will concentrate on low-energy design solutions and work closely with architects and structural engineers.

Andy Pennells (4) has been appointed national sales manager at Andrews Water Heaters.

Frico has announced that Andy Trigger (5) has been appointed to the newly created position of technical sales support, handling technical enquiries on its heating and air curtain range; and Emma Oddy has been promoted to area sales manager for London and the south east.

Controls company Sontay has appointed Gordon Hold (6) as operations manager: he will oversee Sontay's Edenbridge facility.

John Packer Associates has appointed Dianne Dyball as its new sustainability consultant.

Designers and manufacturers of electronic access control systems, Paxton Access, has appointed Matthew Mendes as field sales engineer for France.
