Wembley 'substantially complete' next month

Wembley builder Multiplex expects to substantially complete the new stadium by the end of next month. A statement by the firm to the Australian Stock Exchange yesterday said the main construction works should be finished by then, leaving it until September to carry out cleaning and commissioning (see statement below).

The firm reiterated its entitlement to an extension of time to hand over the project to the client, Wembley National Stadium, by the autumn.
