Multiplex set for court with client on late-running scheme

A court case is now expected between contractor Multiplex and client Wembley National Stadium over the £450m late running scheme.

A report in today's Guardian claimed Multiplex would be claiming £150m from the client due to 560 alleged design changes. The contractor is set to claim there were major structural alterations which have caused delays to the project. The legal action is expected to be launched after Multiplex plans to finish the job, this June. Multiplex's court action against steel contractor Cleveland Bridge is due to start on 25 April.
