Elkay’s range of aquasafe, waterproof electrical connectors are suitable for all applications where power has to be carried outside the home, and connectors are exposed to adverse weather conditions.

Where more than one connector is required, weatherproof enclosures are available in two, three, four or six-way switched, and three-way unswitched, versions. These are ideal for hot tubs, swimming pools and larger lighting installations.

When a device requires servicing, or if it has to be brought indoors during the winter months, it is unplugged from the connector. The exposed connector housing can be sealed using the dedicated sealing cap, ensuring safety.

An active latch mechanism accesses the inner connectors for quick wiring, and a click latch system replaces the conventional screwing two halves together. The ‘O’ ring seal makes the system waterproof to a depth of 20 metres, with an ingress protection rating of IP68.
