Late night drinkers in Bristol are being treated to New York atmosphere in the exclusive Brownstone bar. S

Sited in a 17th century warehouse in the city’s Welshback area, a combination of lighting and sound systems are used to create varying atmospheres in different areas.

Electrical contractor Robert Cardis of RCE Services of Leeds selected Eaton’s Studio 5 lighting control system for the project. This can supply the control functions needed, while the entire system is run from two digital marshalling boxes.

Each marshalling box is rated 16 A and includes control circuits and dimmers for up to nine lighting groups. Control can be by direct 12 V circuits or radio frequency. Manual control is via a panel behind the bar; five different pre-set scenes can be chosen and adjusted.
