Danny Hague, Group Commercial Director of Cheshire based trade fabricator, Advantage Windows and Conservatories Ltd, (pictured left with his sister in law Janice) has given his full support to the Aviva Breakthrough Weekend. He has raised over a thousand pounds through the support of Advantage’s customers and suppliers.

Six years ago Danny’s sister in law, Janice, was diagnosed with breast cancer. In September she will take part, along with thousands of others, in the 60kilometre Breakthrough for breast cancer walk. It is taking place over the weekend of September 23rd to 24th in Birmingham.

Every month 1,000 women die from breast cancer in the UK and it is estimated that this disease affects one in nine of all women. Each walker has to raise a minimum of £1,500 from sponsorship to take part in the walk and all of the funds are committed to fighting the disease through research and awareness. In partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research, Breakthrough for breast cancer has set up the first dedicated breast cancer research centre.

Generous support for the Breakthrough for breast cancer walk has come from Advantage’s customers and suppliers as well as some of the new WIW branches.
