Vision link (UK) Limited has been acquired by a new management team.
Casimir Limited, a company managed by John Nicol, David Beech and David Newland, announced that it has acquired the company.

CEO Nicol is well known in the CCTV industry, having founded Norbain in 1972. He grew it to a market leading position including a full Stock Exchange listing before he left in 1996. He said: "There is a great opportunity for a well-run independent distribution company in the UK CCTV market, and our mission plan is to become the number two distributor by Jan 2005".

Beech who has over 20 years of industry experience has been appointed as Deputy CEO and Sales and Marketing Director. Chief Financial Officer is Newland who joins the team after a successful career with Vodafone.Peter Ford and Brian Munday founded Vision link, and both will be staying on as part of the new management team.

The company has announced it will shortly be making a number of substantial changes to support its growth plans, including: changing the company name to Visionlink plus; a new northern sales office; significantly increasing head count; enhanced service offerings and an extended product range.
