Veka plc has invested around £650,000 in new transport vehicles and tractor units for its delivery fleet. The new vehicles serve as a mobile billboard, liveried with the tagline 'The Best Profile... Anywhere'.

This major investment, made as part of a six-year working relationship with Hays Transport, has been divided between three key areas. Six 44 tonne tractor units to boost the company's long haul fleet. The new trucks are Iveko Stralis units, winners of the Truck of the Year 2003 accolade. In addition, 10 new 4.5m high trailers are already liveried and out on the road. Finally, four new 18 tonne rigid vehicles will meet the needs of customers with more specific service requirements.
