• The first scheme to be arranged through the Elevate East Lancashire housing market renewal pathfinder in Pendle has been awarded to Miller Regeneration.

The housebuilder will work with housing associations Twin Valley Homes and Housing Pendle to provide 103 homes on two sites in the town. The Brierfield Canal Corridor project will include 20 units of affordable housing.

• Toynbee Housing Association has replaced two inter-war tower blocks in Shadwell, East London with a 280-home mixed-tenure scheme on which 85% of the housing is affordable. The Watney Plaza and Tarling Heights project will include a public square. Architects Stock Woolstencroft and Dutch firm S333 have designed the scheme so that 50 of the homes are for larger families.
