East Manchester’s Holt Town waterfront is to be regenerated with residential-led development under a 15-year plan. Masterplanner Edaw is working on a development framework alongside GVA Grimley, Arup, Davis Langdon, Mace and Studio Egret West. Clients are Cibitas Investments, New East Manchester and Manchester council.


Stockport’s near derelict Hopes Carr area will be the destination for more than 350 flats in a new urban village, plus 5000 m2 of commercial, retail and workshop space if Inspired Developments wins consent. It is working with architect Bowker Sadler Partnership, Northern Counties Housing Association and Stockport council.
