PVC-U profile forming company Universal Arches has issued a warning to other manufacturers in the industry following a malicious break in at their St Helens premises last week. The break in, which was caught on the company’s state-of-the-art security cameras, occurred during the early hours and the company believes that it was well planned to cause as much disruption as possible to production.

Paula DeGiorgio, Universal Arches’ sales director, said: ‘This was definitely organised to cause us problems and we are offering a £5,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the culprits.
