So Amicus has joined forces with the T&G union to form Unite (EMC, June, page 8).

Will this new super union continue to support the joint agreement approach fostered by Amicus over the years? I hope so, because no-one who has been on the receiving end of some of the actions of the more militant electricians housed under the T&G banner will want to see their merry band of brothers take control.

Let’s hope Unite is more than a name but a statement of intent as well.
