The UK arm of the Green Building Council is set to launch in spring 2007, following the inaugural meeting of the UKGBC in London on 13 October where the organisation’s 20 founding members each pledged £30,000 over the first two years.

The founding members include manufacturers, materials suppliers, architects engineers and developers. The organisation is currently searching for a chairman and recruiting a chief executive.
