3:30PM Firm will act as cost consultant on banking group's City fit-outs

Swiss banking group UBS has appointed Bucknall Austin as cost consultants on two separate City of London office fit-outs.

The first is a 40,000 sq ft office fit-out on Snowden Street designed by Cochrane McGregor architects. It is currently fitted out to 'Category A' standard and will be upgraded to 'Category B', with a completion date of March.

Project two at Broadgate involves the stripping back of approximately 60,000 sq ft of office space to shell and core and fitting it out to a 'Category B' design by Pringle Brandon architects. Scheduled completion is June 2007.

Bucknall Austin partner Phil Breeden said: "It's great news to work with blue chip clients such as UBS and is evidence of our commitment to a high quality of service. The UBS projects add to a general boom in office work we are experiencing at the moment in London."

Supporting Breeden are team leader Melissa Thompson, building services project surveyor Darren Suttling and assistant surveyor Warren Todd.
