10:30AM Company wins best all round and international gongs at our ceremony

Turner & Townsend was triumphant at the 2006 QS Awards, winning three trophies including the prestigious best all round firm. T&T was also named international firm of the year and staff member Anooj Oodit won the young achiever of the year award at the event, held last Friday at Vinopolis in central London.

M&E QS firm MaitlandQS also performed strongly at the ceremony, now in its second year. The company won the best training initiative for devising its very own specialist university course with the University of Salford and founder Frank Maitland was named QS champion of the year. And it was a great event for AA Projects, who were both best new QS firm and best strategic construction advisor.

Other winners included Hornagold & Hills who won the project management firm of the year and employer of the year Bucknall Austin.
