The Security Institute (TSI) has published the 2004 edition of its Yearbook and Directory of Qualifications. The publication aims to raise awareness of professional training courses and qualifications available within the sector, and to encourage practising security managers to undertake professional enhancement.

To this end, the Yearbook details a wide variety of both academic qualifications and vocational training courses recognised by TSI.

The listings summarise the scope and level of these courses, and also the number of points for which they qualify within the Institute's own membership validation process.

The publication also contains several articles by authors including Wayne Wilcox, Chris Brogan and Giovanni Manunta (on topics such as the screening and vetting of staff and the Data Protection Act 1998) plus a wealth of salient references.
