Multifire has installed a specialist fire alarm system by Gent as part of an extensive refurbishment at Linden Lodge special needs school in London. Alarms can upset the pupils, but Multifire came to the rescue with custom voice messages as part of the S-Quad sensor and S-Cubed alarm sounder range, powered by Vigilon analogue addressable fire panels.

The S-Cubed alarm devices provide a combination of strobe, speech and sounder warnings, complying fully with part three of the Disability Discrimination Act.

Fewer panels were needed compared to other companies' proposed systems, as each S-Cubed has a very low power consumption, allowing many more sounders to be installed on a single Gent analogue addressable loop.
