1 AtkinsRéalis: AtkinsRéalis was created in September 2023 and is an amalgamation of Atkins, Faithful+Gould and SNC-Lavalin. The new firm was unable to provide a breakdown of chartered staff numbers this year barring architects.

4 Turner & Townsend: In February 2023 Turner & Townsend acquired Alinea, a London-based cost consultancy

5 Jones Lang LaSalle: Fee income includes non-construction work (property consultancy). Jones Lang LaSalle is unable to break down its UK turnover – hence its high listing.

7 Stantec: Stantec acquired Hydrock in April 2024. This will add 30% to the company’s workforce and will be reflected in next year’s figures.

8 Hydrock Group: Stantec acquired Hydrock on 30 April 2024. These are Hydrock’s figures up to and including that date.

9 CPC Project Services: Figures are estimated as at May 2024.

10 Drees & Sommer: Drees & Sommer UK and AA Projects merged in January 2024. These figures combine the two companies accounts but for a shortened period (nine months) for AA Projects due to the firms having different accounting periods.

11 GIA: GIA Surveyors aquired the trade, assets and liabilities of Gordon Ingram Associates and GIA North in October 2023. These figures are consolidated to show the total group fees.

12 Baily Garner: These figures cover a 11-month year due to year end change.
