The Cape in Brighton (pictured above), an Art Deco style scheme, has installed aluminium tilt and slide hardware from Siegenia-Aubi Ltd.

The hardware has been used to help protect patio doors withstand the rigours of a sea front location.

The development comprises a mix of 22 luxury apartments and town houses in gated grounds.

Commercial aluminium fenestration specialist Trojan Aluminium won the £100k contract to supply and fit 100 windows and tilt and slide patio doors that provide access to private balconies. Trojan worked closely with systems company Senior Aluminium to deliver the contract.

Michael Hawkins, Technical Sales Manager at Senior Aluminium, said: ‘We knew that Siegenia-Aubi gearing would be the best for this job.’

Andrew Cooper, General Manager at Trojan Aluminium, said: ‘Siegenia and Senior worked well together to deliver the windows and doors.’
