Haleys has appointed Jill Robertson as HR manager. She joins from contractor Bluestone. Haleys managing director Steve Haley said the move was aimed at providing "a well round business platform" from which to operate.
Davis Langdon has promoted associate Carl Dainter to partner. Dainter is based in the Birmingham office, where he jointly runs the commercial, residential and education team of cost managers. He also heads up the motor retail and airport teams. His current projects include several new dealerships for Sytner, Audi and Porsche and local new college projects including Solihull Learning Village for Solihull College. Dainter joined Davis Langdon in 2003.
Cyril Sweett has two new staff in its Leeds office. Julie Gelder joins as senior health & safety consultant and planning supervisor from Waterman Health & Safety where she performed due diligence and occupational health and safety services.Bouk Mayer joins as senior project manager from AYH. He is particularly experienced in the hotel and leisure sector. The Leeds branch now employs 13 people.
Darren Bailey at consultant RLF has stepped up from associate to partner. He joined the firm in April 2005 and played a key role in setting up the firm’s Manchester office, which opened in June 2005. The Manchester office is relocating to larger premises and the firm plans to double its staff in the next few months. RLF has also promoted Graham Black from associate to partner in its Birmingham office.
