Honeywell is providing an integrated security solution for the head office of Eon Productions - home of the James Bond movie franchise
- Access control
- CCTV
- Intruder alarms
Security is provided via a Win-Pak Pro proximity access control system, a Fusion DVR and Galaxy intruder alarms that restrict access at the main doors as well as on each of the six floors in the Grade II-listed building. All main doors are kept locked, with staff using proximity access control cards to gain entry to authorised areas. The CCTV cameras have been positioned by installer West London Security to monitor activities around the perimeter of the building and all secured areas.
Using a web browser, members of Eon's staff can monitor images from the cameras quickly and easily. The CCTV provides additional security whenever a visitor calls at the main entrance, during or after office working hours. Staff can see visitor(s) using the web browser and activate the door opener to let them in - or refuse entry - from the PC.
On site access control comes with a dedicated site code and number range, while the Fusion DVR records all camera images in real time on the hard drive. Here, the CCTV has been supplied as a deterrent in addition to being an evidence gatherer.
