The Lighthouse, Scotland’s first dedicated national centre for architecture, has had its analogue CCTV converted to a state-of-the-art wireless network, using Axis video servers and Milestone Professional software.

The installation was undertaken by King Communications. Security staff can now view camera shots on laptops from anywhere in the building.

The conversion of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s 1895 Glasgow Herald newspaper office is one of Glasgow’s most iconic buildings and is operated as a charitable trust.
