• Access control • Visitor management

Kalamazoo Security Print has launched the latest version of its widely-deployed visitor management solution VisitorNet. The all-new version makes it much easier to notify hosts of the arrival of their visitors to site thanks to the addition of e-mail and SMS text alert notifications that may be sent almost instantaneously.

The Kalamazoo system offers client organisations the ability to capture detailed information of all on-site visitors while at the same time promoting a professional and organised image of the company the moment any visitor enters the premises. Visitors may be quickly pre-booked into the system, and badges pre-printed, all of which helps to streamline check-in procedures. Each badge is printed with a bar code which, once read by a scanner, automatically logs the guest in or out of the building.

As Health and Safety legislation becomes more complex, it's essential that a company's regulations are communicated to all visitors. The new version of VisitorNet allows the security manager to digitally capture any visitor's signature to show that they acknowledge important information.

Using an electronic signature pad, visitors sign to accept Health and Safety regulations. The signature is then stored and encrypted for possible retrieval.
