Megger’s latest range of digital earth-resistance testers has been extended to include a model powered from rechargeable batteries and versions with variable test frequency.

Maximum resistance that can be measured has been increased tenfold for all models.

For demanding applications requiring maximum versatility, Megger offers the DET4TC2, powered from standard AA batteries, and the DET4TCR2, which uses rechargeable batteries. The TCR2 has an integral charger, and is supplied with a mains adaptor.

These instruments support two, three, and four-pole testing, as well as attached-rod technique, stakeless, leakage of current and earth-noise voltage measurement. There are four test frequencies: 94 Hz, 105 Hz, 111 Hz and 128 Hz.
