12:20PM Firm pledges to get locals involved with Tigné Point scheme in Malta

Turner & Townsend is project managing a £320m mixed use scheme in Malta. The development at Tigné Point and Manoel Island includes some 940 apartments, 12,000m² of office space and 17,000m² leisure and retail complex. The complex will feature a luxury hotel, a casino and 350-berth marina. T&T is also providing commercial management of the project and will send an on-site team to carry out project controls. The firm said it would maximise the involvement of local contractors and develop innovative procurement approaches.
