Scafftag has introduced a new status tagging system specifically designed to manage the inspection, maintenance and accurate identification of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as cherry pickers, genie booms and scissor lifts.

The MEWP tag system comprises two components; a holder which attaches permanently to the equipment, and replaceable inserts.

The inserts are completed as inspections or maintenance is carried out and placed in the holder to display latest status. Removing the insert displays the prohibition symbol on the empty holder.

The MEWP Tag provides multiple attachment options (cable tie, adhesive, screw or rivet) and the tag insert contains a quick-reference inspection checklist.
