Roger Knowles approached the Systech Group late last year, asking them to consider purchasing his majority shareholding of James R Knowles.

With regards to Mr Knowles' letter to QS News, Systech feels that a public debate in the press regarding the details of that meeting serves no constructive purpose. Indeed it may undermine ongoing negotiations. They would however like to point out the following facts:

The RWS court case has been in the public realm for some considerable time now and was very widely publicised. Stephen Rayment and Mark Woodward-Smith have nothing to hide.

Negotiations regarding Systech's bid for James R Knowles continue to be ongoing.
