Private consultant puts offer up for AIM-listed group

Privately owned firm Systech has put a cash offer in for AIM-listed legal consultant JR Knowles, it emerged today.

The firm released a statement this afternoon confirming it had put a "significant" cash offer in for the firm, following an approach from chairman and founder Roger Knowles to purchase his own shareholding in the group.

A Systech spokesperson said: "This would be a strategic acquisition as part of our plans for expanding the Systech Group as a whole." Systech is a global consultant that specialises in project management and contractual advice.
