Supporting People notice periods

If providers have an interim contract with a Supporting People administering authority, an across-the-board cut would be in breach of that contract (20 February, page 18).

Many providers have not yet been reviewed by the Supporting People teams and there are usually notice periods relating to funding levels in the contracts that cannot be ignored.

Local authorities that believe they can merely pass on any central government cuts to providers should examine the terms of the interim contracts they issued first.
