Stronger voice for H&S

The HSC has overall responsibility for occupational health and safety regulations, and its rules are enforced by HSE and local authorities. It is thought that merging the two organisations will provide a stronger voice for health and safety as well as improve decision making and provide a clearer public and regulatory presence.
